Laid-back Lumberjack

This weekend was all about relaxation for me. After a tough week, I decided to relax and spend time with Boyfriend, who finally switched his work schedule to be able to hang out with me on weekends again! We decided to make food all day and watch movies (FYI, I almost peed my pants watching Paranormal Activity 2).

This plaid shirt is one of the few vintage items in my closet. I found it a few years ago at a local thrift shop. I love it because it's fitted, and the flannel material is so warm! I love the concept of buying something that was once loved by someone, but my mom thinks all vintage clothing came off dead people, haha. Sadly, I haven't been able to go vintage shopping lately, but I will post a thrift store adventure in the future. 

So tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I'm not sure whether I'm excited or not. First of all, Mondays suck. Second of all, my schedule on Mondays suck. Tomorrow, I'll be done with my day at 6:15 p.m., then I have to race home (hopefully, not in traffic), and then drive to an 8 p.m. dinner reservation. All the while, I have to be getting dressed and made up for the evening. Oy. I'm crossing my fingers real hard that I will be able to post my outfit. Plus, I want to post Boyfriend's outfit that I bought for him specifically for the occasion. Yes, he will be making his debut! How exciting!

All right, I'll stop being a party pooper already. Time to paint my nails and procrastinate some more. Sorry homework, my nails are in need of some lovin'.
