Safari Disco Club

(Forever 21 dress, H&M utility shirt, Urban Outfitters oxfords, Michael Kors watch, Forever 21 & American Eagle jewelry, Ray Ban Wayfarers)

I took these photos two days ago, but I haven't gotten the chance to post them because I've been so busy with school! Luckily, last night I got to take a break from school and go to a Yelle show. She is tre adorable and super awesome in concert. There's nothing like French dance party music to ease your mind about graduation.

Lace and Blossoms

(Forever 21 lace top, Forever 21 khaki shorts, Target wedges, Forever 21 floppy hat, Michael Kors watch, Forever 21 bracelets)

We are experiencing some serious April showers in Maryland today. Luckily, I got a chance to snap these photos earlier in the day when the weather was beautiful.

For me, Easter is a time for family, candy and pastels. Nothing says spring like the beautiful flowers blooming in my backyard and this lovely hat I got from Forever 21. I recently went on a hat splurge and bought a few to shield me from the sun.

Now that my internship is over, I've finally gotten some time to relax. But of course, school has taken over my life. I cannot believe that graduation is in less than a month. Time really does fly by in your 20s, which is why I've started taking the time to really appreciate the little moments in life like spending time with the ones you love.

Feeling blue

(J. Crew denim shirt, ZARA blue bubble shorts, Target wedges)

I am hardly feeling sad, but I do have the blues -- as in I've been rediscovering my love of all things blue: the sky, the ocean, nail polish, Smurfs, denim, and these awesome bubble shorts from ZARA. This outfit  was inspired by the current J. Crew lookbook, which features amazing color blocked ensembles. What I love about this trend is that it can be wild and crazy, but also toned down. I had originally paired this outfit with a very blue shirt, but I decided to opt for a more subdued version with a denim shirt instead, which still has just as much blue, but not to make me look like a Smurfette.

This weekend was spent being absolutely lazy. Senioritis is setting in. I can feel it. My internship is coming to a close this week, so I should have some more free time to focus on myself. A little me time is in order.

All of the lights

(ZARA top, Forever 21 denim shorts, Target wedges, Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses, Forever 21 necklace)

Every magazine I open is featuring the color orange. Since I live off of these subliminal messages, I went and bought an orange shirt. Darn those sneaky marketing bastards. But I am so excited for the color blocking trend this season. I love how a great punch of color can make the simplest outfit more exciting! I want to know: what's your favorite trend this spring?

By the way, these shoes are absolutely comfortable. Literally, I could walk in these shoes all day and feel nothing! My love for Target shoes grow more and more every season.

Time flies

(Forever 21 button-up shirt, ZARA polka dot mini skirt, Clarks sandals, Michael Kors watch, Forever 21 bracelets)

Spring is here to stay! Hope I didn't jinx it, but the weather has been great lately. And it's a good thing, because man, am I pale. I feel Please excuse my pasty legs.

Everything is going by so fast! My internship is coming to a close and school is almost done. Time definitely flies by in the last semester of school. Now my mind is centered around searching for jobs. I had my first interview today, which I felt really great about. Cross your fingers for me!
